The customer already had 4kW of solar panels installed. They chose to keep the existing solar system and add a battery. They chose a 20kWh battery to cover a few days’ electricity requirements. They also wanted backup so they can run their home during a power cut, so we installed a Sigenergy Gateway HomePro SP-F. We chose SigEnergy since it can run automatically on artificial intelligence mode for ease of use for the customer which maximises profit or self-consumption. The SigEnergy system uses machine learning and GPT-4 technology to intelligently manage home energy. The AI uses customer usage patterns, analyses future weather, makes decisions based on dynamic tariffs (ones that move up and down over time). It then optimises solar storage, EV charging, and grid interaction for maximum savings.
